Can You Help Us Send Some Birthday Wishes To This WWII Hero?
They fought in World War II, they came home and helped mold the nation we have today. They were captains of industry, hard-working, family-raising Americans. They were and still are the Greatest Generation, and we're slowly losing our chances to show them the appreciation they so richly deserve. Here's an opportunity to wish this young man a happy 100th birthday, and you should do it too because he absolutely deserves it.
The Texas General Land Office under the direction of Commissioner George P. Bush posted the notice of this gentleman's birthday the other day on their Facebook page, and we thought it was a golden opportunity to share it with you.
His name is Archie Thomas, Mr. Thomas is an Army Air Corp WWII Veteran and former Prisoner of War, and he turns 100 years old on July 13, 2022. That's next Wednesday.
This East Texas native not only served in World War II but he is also a Purple Heart Recipient. All Mr. Thomas wants for his 100th birthday is 100 birthday cards, I bet we can do better than that. In fact, if we spread the word, I bet Mr. Thomas will be opening birthday cards for the foreseeable future.
Remember, this is not an online greeting card, this one has to go the old-fashioned way, through the US Mail, it's going to take a little effort on your part to make happen.
