Bringle Lake Boat Ramp to Re-Open

Good news for area fisherman.The city of Texarkana, Texas Parks Department says the ramp will re-open Saturday August 11. “we are happy to be able to again make the boat ramp available to our many citizens who enjoy the recreation that Bringle Lake offers, ” according to Parks Department Manager Robby Robertson. “We look forward to the completion of the project when we will have two beautiful lakefront parks for the community to utilize.”

Bringle Lake Park itself will remain closed at this time, even as the boat ramp re-opens. Officials say they hope to have University Avenue completed by October.
