Big Change Coming to ‘Trunk or Treat’ at Spring Lake Park Texarkana
Halloween might still be a way off but it's great to know that plans are already being made for the next Trunk or Treating event in Spring Lake Park in Texarkana.
This Year - Bigger and Better
The City of Texarkana Texas along with the Texarkana Texas Police shared on Facebook that they are working on some ideas to make this year's event bigger and better than ever. As we all know the last couple of years the event was a drive-thru style for limited contact to the pandemic.
The Biggest Change This Year For Trunk or Treat at Spring Lake Park?
One of the big changes this October will be back to the original format where you will be able to park your car and then walk around to all the different groups and organizations handing out candy.
The TTPD posted on their Facebook page a thank you to the community;
The drive thru version that we had for the last two years because of COVID worked pretty good and helped keep everyone safe, but we know it wasn't ideal. We're thankful for everyone who stuck with us through those challenges and came on out anyway.
The Date And Time Are Set For The 4th Annual Trunk or Treat at Spring Lake Park
The Date has been set, so mark your calendars for Saturday, October 29, 2022. From 3 PM to 6 PM.
