Area Man Charged With Murder in Texas

A Mineral Springs Arkansas man faces murder charges after a body was found in his rig.Dallas, Texas police stopped 49 year old Roderick Jordan on Interstate 20 after noticing the wheels of his truck were smoking. An affidavit says Jordan told an officer that he was along, but allowed police to search the cab an the body of a man was found. It appears the victim was stabbed.

Authorities are trying to identify the victim and are investigating as to whether the rig was stolen.
