Annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Observance Event

Be sure to attend the Annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Observance Event on January 14 at 4PM in the Johnny Rapert Auditorium on the University of Arkansas at Hope – Hope, AR campus. 

The theme this year is  “Empowering the Generations to live THE DREAM" with

Guest Speaker Dr. Juanita Mitchell, who is the Director of the SAU Tech Career Academy. Local host churches and pastors include:

Beebe Memorial CME Church – the Reverend Monette Shaw, Pastor

Mt. Pleasant CME Church – the Reverend Deborah Cotledge, Pastor

Mt. Zion CME Church – the Reverend Catrina Ward, Pastor

The Board of Christian Education will present to Heather Manor Nursing Facility staff, twin comforters for their client's beds.  This community activity allows the Board to leave a positive impact on the local community.  This event is free to the public and everyone is welcome!
