Last week Miller County deputies were able to solve a theft quickly thanks to a corporal being observant and acting quickly.

It started on Thursday, September 9, 2021 morning around 8:52AM. A call came into the Miller County Sherrif's Department about a theft in the Mandeville area. Deputies went to the residence on Miller County Road 144 in the Mandeville area.  The victim reported to Deputy Don Rogers:

he heard and saw a black-colored truck pull into the carport area of the residence for a short period of time, then exit the property.

Several items were stolen including a window air conditioner, Surveillance DVR, and multiple items of SCUBA dive equipment. Deputy Brown, working with the reporting persons viewed surveillance footage from neighboring surveillance systems which showed the suspect vehicle entering and leaving the area.
