Good Monday, Here are some stories making headlines today:

A fatal traffic accident claims the life of a Texarkana, Arkansas man. The Texas DPS says 39 year old Michael Anderson of Texarkana Arkansas was killed when the vehicle he was driving blew a tire, left the roadway, went into a skid and over turned.  

Authorities say the accident occurred around 12:45 this morning on Interstate 30 near mile marker 150 in Franklin County in Northeast Texas. A paasenger in the vehicle 21 year old Jonitta Lambert  also of Texarkana, Arkansas sustained minor injuries in the accident.

A  three year old  girl is dead after a Sunday Morning fire damaged a Texas-side home in the 1400 block of West 10th street. Authorities say firefighters arrived to find half the home engulfed in flames and it took about one hour to get it under control.

There were five adults and three children in the home at the time the blaze erupted. All the family members got out of the house except the three year old victim. The child’s body has been sent for an autopsy and the investigation is continuing.
