Fire Trucks! Monster Trucks! Big Rigs and more! The Junior League of Texarkana will hold its sixth annual "Touch a Truck" festival on Saturday, April 11, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Front Street Plaza in downtown Texarkana.

The event will feature big rigs, emergency vehicles, construction equipment and more.

There will also be costumed characters, face painting, safety demonstrations, balloon artists, and performances by local children's groups. Free construction hats will go to the first 250 kids of the day and free goody bags for the first 200 kids who turn in their cards showing they visited all of the trucks.

The "Touch a Truck" event helps the Junior League of Texarkana support its mission and community projects while also providing families the opportunity to learn about and explore trucks, construction vehicles and public safety equipment. All proceeds go to programs benefiting our local children.
