Tommy Lee Claims Son Brandon Beat Him Unconscious; Motley Crue Drummer Spars With Piers Morgan
Tommy Lee has enjoyed a dramatic week at the hands of his son Brandon, Pamela Anderson and Piers Morgan. On top of sparring on Twitter with Morgan, the former Motley Crue drummer says his son “assaulted” him, knocking the musician unconscious.
According to Ultimate Classic Rock, Tommy Lee posted a picture of himself with a swollen lip to Instagram with the caption, "My heart is broken. You can give your kids everything they could ever want in their entire lives and they can still turn against you. Good job Brandon! Great son!" The post has since been deleted.
After TMZ reported Tommy was drunk and Brandon acted in self defense, the Crue drummer responded:
Lee’s contentious week had already began with a string of tweets between himself and TV host Piers Morgan. The British personality recently interviewed Lee’s ex-wife Pamela Anderson, discussing Tommy’s 1998 arrest and imprisonment for spousal battery.
This started a back-and-forth between Lee and Morgan, with the drummer going for the throat and the TV anchor countering with pure passive aggression:
Strangely enough, the tussle acted as a de-facto announcement for a new Tommy Lee album. Maybe we’ll see a new Methods of Mayhem release this summer? Stay tuned for updates on Tommy Lee and his projects.
In other Crue news, actress Rebekah Graf has been recruited to play another one of Tommy Lee’s wives, Heather Locklear, in the film adaptation of The Dirt.
