Three Area High School Teams Still in The Football Playoffs

First off we want to say congratulations to nearby Camden-Fairview in South Arkansas for claiming the 5A State Championship in the state of Arkansas.Fairview used to be in the same classification as Arkansas High, but dropped down a few years back to 5A and has been very competitive and it culminated with a state championship this year.

Now, still left in the playoffs in Northeast Texas are three teams. They are New Boston, Daingerfield, and Hughes Springs. New Boston and Daingerfield play each other this Friday night at 7:30 p.m. in Mt. Pleasant.

Meanwhile Hughes Springs takes on Elysian Fields at 7:30 p.m. Saturday night in Longview.
