Texarkana Texas Police are continuing to search for a suspect in connection with a Memorial Day Weekend homicide.

Authorities are asking for help from the public in finding, 34 year old Hakim Gerald Webster in connection with a shooting incident that occurred over the holiday weekend on Lumpkin Street.

Authorities were dispatched to a residence in the 400 block of Lumpkin Street. Once on scene, officers located the victim 33 year old Ralph Morrison, suffering from a gunshot wound. Morrison was transported to a local hospital for treatment, however he died as a result of his injuries.

The investigation determined Morrison was visiting with the residents at the home when a black male suspect pulled up in front of the house in a light blue Chevrolet minivan with Texas Tags. The suspect exited the vehicle and began firing multiple shots at the home, striking the victim once in the head. Authorities believe Morrison and the suspect had a dispute with each other due to an incident from several years ago. The suspect then fled the scene in the minivan.
 
Authorities have issued a warrant for murder for, Webster, who is described as a black male, 5’10”, around 180 pounds. He was last seen driving a light blue Chevrolet Uplander minivan, with a Texas License plate bearing FST4968.
