TexAmericas Center to Host ‘Bytes Over Breakfast’ in Collaboration with DartPoints
Earlier this month TexAmericas Center announced plans to develop green energy data centers. To advance their plans they are hosting Bytes Over Breakfast on Friday, March 31.
The event will be a knowledge-sharing forum with government officials, education administrators, business leaders, and organizations that have or are interested in data storage, colocation, cloud, internet services and more.
The event will give TexAmericas Center the opportunity to find out the needs for the center and the connectivity needs that local companies will need.
TexAmericas Center is looking to bring data center services to the Texarkana area for IT-intensive companies.
The attendees of the program with get a site tour plus business development discussions in collaboration with DartPoints, which will help assess the needs of potential clients with an Edge Infrastructure.
The event will take place March 31 from 9 am -11 am at TexAmericas Center, 11 Chapel Lane, Ste. B in New Boston.
According to the press release,
Edge data centers are smaller, decentralized, highly connected facilities that provide computing, connectivity, and storage solutions in a location closer to where data is being generated and used, as compared to regional and cloud data centers. These facilities enable new applications by reducing latency and optimizing bandwidth. Instead, data is being processed in real-time, meaning that compute resources are close to end users at the Edge.
To attend the program you must register by Friday, March 17. Call 903-223-9841 and ask for Courtney. You can also register Online Here.
