Archaeologists have made a jaw-dropping discovery near Marfa, Texas—an ancient weapon kit believed to be thousands of years old and possibly one of the oldest ever found in the U.S. Perfectly preserved in a cave, this find could change what we know about early life in the Big Bend region.

Last Saturday, June 15, 2024, Arkansas State Police (ASP) conducted a traffic stop on a white Mitsubishi SUV on Interstate 40 East near the 79-mile marker in Pope County. The stop, prompted by a traffic violation, led to a significant discovery.

The I-40 Corridor between Little Rock and Memphis is plagued with illegal drugs running as always, just as is I-30, I-20, I-10, and so on. Most recently, it seems as though the Arkansas State Police have been winning the battle, seizing almost 900 pounds of illegal drugs in a recent 10-day period.

On this 4/20 weekend, we salute the Arkansas State Police for their efforts of Interstate Criminal Patrol, which often means illegal drug seizure, money, weapons, and even people.

Arkansas is a gun-toting state but what about other weapons for example brass knuckles? Are they considered illegal to carry in the state of Arkansas?
