The I-40 Corridor between Little Rock and Memphis is plagued with illegal drugs running as always, just as is I-30, I-20, I-10, and so on. Most recently, it seems as though the Arkansas State Police have been winning the battle, seizing almost 900 pounds of illegal drugs in a recent 10-day period.

During a recent 10-day period, the ICP seized a combined 886 pounds of illegal drugs and a handgun from six separate incidents.

This success is part of a larger effort by ASP's ICP team, which has already confiscated over 4,000 pounds of illegal marijuana since the beginning of the year. Colonel Mike Hagar of the ASP praised the team's dedication to ensuring highway safety and preventing the flow of illegal substances into communities across the state.
