Is it a chicken bucket lid? Is it a vinyl record? How about both?

As I am writing this story it is Throwback Thursday and if you love nostalgic items as I do then you are going to love the store Vinyl aka Caddo Mercantile Antiques in Jefferson, Texas.

RIAA's Cary Sherman said the new report proves "some technology giants have been enriching themselves at the expense of the people who actually create the music."

This fall, British metal legends Iron Maiden will reissue the first eight albums of their career on limited edition vinyl, the band announced on its website.  As befits a band known for their visual element, the records will released as picture discs.

Music has undergone many format changes over the years, but rarely does on old form ever come back to prominence. That’s exactly what has happened in recent years, however, with a new generation of music lovers latching onto vinyl records and the warm sound they provide. For ZZ Top‘s Billy Gibbons, that fascination never left.
