We've seen quite a few stories in the news lately where a grandparent or a parent has graduated college with their grandchild, Well here's a new twist. How about a mother and daughter in college together but the daughter is an instructor at the college. That's right, a local mother's college instructor is her daughter.

It's time to register for summer and fall classes at the University of Arkansas Hope-Texarkana (UAHT).  Classes start soon with Summer I and online summer classes begin June 1, Summer II classes start July 5, and Fall classes begin August 24.

The University of Arkansas Hope-Texarkana Foundation made the tough decision to reschedule the 15th Annual Beads, Bags, and Bangles Kids’ College fundraiser due to the number of COVID-19 cases in the area.

Here's a big congratulations to the 2021 Academic All-Star at the University of Arkansas at Hope-Texarkana, Karcee Bonner of Blevins, Arkansas. Bonner has also been awarded the Honors Scholarship and has made the Chancellor’s List every semester.

Big congratulations to the College Relations Department at The University of Arkansas Hope-Texarkana! They received two awards at the 36th Annual Educational Advertising Awards competition in Atlanta, Georgia.

Kudos to these four Genoa High School graduates. Each of these girls has been awarded scholarships to the University of Arkansas at Hope Texarkana. Congratulations to Lindsey McDowell, Emily Shetzer and Macie and Madison Sims. I think it's a pretty good guess on my part that Macie and Madison are twins.
