The University of Arkansas Hope-Texarkana held the 11th Annual Spring Foundation Scholarship Ceremony on Wednesday, March 7, 2018.

The University of Arkansas Hope-Texarkana will offer an online Technical Certificate in Funeral Directing beginning this spring. The thirty credit hour program can be completed in just five 8-week sessions.

The Wilbur Smith Rotary Club of Texarkana recently donated $500 to the University of Arkansas Hope-Texarkana Foundation. The scholarship will benefit a student at the U of A Texarkana campus. The scholarship is funded by the Rotary Flag Project which benefits area Rotary charities.

The University of Arkansas Hope-Texarkana will offer guitar lessons in the Summer I and Summer II terms. The classes will be instructed by Benjamin Munson who hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Guitar Performance from Southern Methodist University and is currently working on a Master’s Degree in Guitar Performance.

The University of Arkansas Hope-Texarkana received a $10,000 donation from Ronald McDonald Children’s Charity (RMCC) of Texarkana on May 17. The funds are given to support the summer Kids’ College programs offered by UAHT. RMCC awards these funds to programs that directly benefit children; have consistent, effective management and clear goals and objectives; and demonstrate the ability to respond

The University of Arkansas Hope-Texarkana Community Education Department will hold a Cook Smart, Eat Smart class on Thursday, April 13, 2017, from 5:30PM to 9PM at Hempstead Hall.
