Texarkana Homeless Coalition

The Texarkana Homeless Coalition is going to be conducting the annual Point-In-Time homeless population count later this month, on Thursday, January 26th. Then, on January 27, TXKHC’s Bridge City Project Chili Cook-off will take place starting at 5 PM at 316 Hazel Street in Texarkana, AR, in front of the Salvation Army shelter.

Do you make great chili? If you do then get ready to compete in the Bridge City Project Chili Cookoff on Friday, February 25 in downtown Texarkana.

The colder weather means it's time for the annual Bridge City Chili Cook-Off at the end of this month as the Texarkana Homeless Coalition (TXKHC) also conducts its annual Point-In-Time (PIT) homeless population observational count. the count will take place on Thursday, January 28.  at 902 W. 12th Street, Texarkana, Texas. Then the Chili Cook-Off is the next day January 29.

The Texarkana Homeless Coalition is launching Operation Responsible Compassion. This public community campaign is intended to help educate the public about options to ensure their compassion truly provides sustainable-help to those in need.

Do you make great chili? It's time to put it to the test. Maybe you just love to eat chili then make plans to join the Texarkana Homeless Coalition for The Bridge City Chili Cook-off Friday, January 24 from 5PM to 9PM.

On Jan. 25, the Texarkana Homeless Coalition (TXKHC) will conduct its annual Point-In-Time homeless population count followed the next day by a special annual event.

On January 27, 2017, the Texarkana Homeless Coalition will again take its mission to the streets with the fourth annual Bridge City Project.

The third annual Bridge City Project is set for Friday, January 22,  in downtown Texarkana. On that night, the Texarkana Homeless Coalition will again take their mission to the streets.

Some local volunteers spent a freezing Friday night in  cardboard boxes to raise awareness to the plight of the homeless population in Texarkana and to raise much needed funds for the "Bridge City Project".

The Texarkana Homeless Coalition is getting pumped up for the first "Bridge City Project" this Friday night in downtown Texarkana. Community leaders, volunteers, government leaders and others will spend the night as many homeless do, in boxes.
