Sad to report that the Texarkana Arkansas School District is losing its Superintendent after after working in the district for two decades holding many positions. Dr. Becky Kesler recently officially announced that she would be resigning, effective June 2024.

The Texarkana Arkansas School District has made a difficult decision to close its TASD schools temporarily beginning tomorrow January 11, through January 17, after reviewing recent COVID-19 and quarantine data and consultation with the Arkansas Department of Education and Department of Health.

It's that time again, time to apply for the Arkansas High School Collegiate Academy. Registration is now open. The deadline to apply for the collegiate academy is June 1. Students who will be entering the 10th grade can apply to the academy.

The excitement is building for North Heights Junior High students, teachers, and staff as they are just a few days away from moving into the new $26 million Arkansas Middle School building on Jefferson Avenue.
