Leadership Texarkana Class of 2018 Focuses the Community on What’s To Love about Texarkana USA with Literal Ground-Breaking and Growth-Inspiring Tree Plantings on Monday, November 19 at 3PM at Bobby Ferguson Park and on Tuesday, November 20 at 9:30AM at Spring Lake Park. Leadership Texarkana recently honored some are individuals and organizations for their efforts to better the community as they presented the annual Wilbur Awards.

Leadership Texarkana celebrated local excellence in community leadership at the 9th annual Luncheon with Leaders at Texarkana Country Club on April 10, with the awarding of the organization’s Leader Of The Year Award, as well as honoring community leaders through Leadership Texarkana’s annual Wilbur Awards.  The luncheon was sponsored by Texarkana Emergency Center.

It’s time for high school students to apply for Leadership Texarkana’s summer leadership program, Today’s Youth–Tomorrow’s Leaders (TYTL).  The purpose of Today's Youth Tomorrow's Leaders is to start young to engage and equip high-school-aged leaders from throughout the community in working together for community excellence, pride and progress.

Leadership Texarkana is offering a new community leadership program for senior adults in partnership with the SAGE program at Texarkana College.   The program is designed to engage and equip senior adults for new thinking about our community as they are given the opportunity to learn more about what’s to love, and where the challenges lie, and in the process, to imagine potential new opportunities

Nominees have been announced for the 2016 Wilbur Awards for Community Leadership presented annually to individuals, organizations, and student leaders who epitomize the power of one entity or individual to positively impact our community and region as models of effective leadership and of working together with others to make best use of resources for our community’s best future.

Leadership Texarkana is currently accepting applications for its annual youth leadership program.

Leadership Texarkana is now taking applications for the 2015-2016 LT Class. Only 30 future leaders will be accepted so get those applications in as soon as possible. This is a great opportunity to learn leadership skills while learning more about your community. A social is scheduled for June 8 to afford those interested in the program to ask questions and mingle with other potential classmates. 

Leadership Texarkana is bringing big names to Leadercast this year. The event is Friday, May 8, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Truman Arnold Center at Texarkana College.

World renowned leaders will be showcased during Leadership 2015 in Texarkana.

Leaders of the twin cities will get together this week to talk about common ground. Leadership Texarkana will host the joint meeting.
