Charlie Daniels, like many folks, couldn't just drive thru Texarkana and not get a picture at one of the most photographed places in the U.S., the Federal Courthouse that straddles the State line between Texas and Arkansas.

To make sure we knew the best way to get thru all of the construction surrounding the Four States Fairgrounds to get to 'Sparks in the Park', we drove all up in it.

In a re-start with only 4 laps to the checkered flag, it was Tony Stewart beating out Jimmie Johnson for the win Sunday in the Kobalt Tools 400 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. This is Stewart's first victory at the track, and he won in grand fashion having the most dominant car of the day.

Well, I personally think it was a great turnout for the very first "Railfest" in downtown Texarkana, Arkansas, and I applaud all of those that worked so hard to make it happen. The BBQ Rib Cook-Off, the Beauty Pageant, the entertainment... Cheers!
