Yawning is contagious. Just not for humans, but dogs, too. In fact, people may instantaneously yawn just by hearing another person do it. Same for dogs. Though they're 5-times more likely to "catch a yawn" if the pet hears their owner yawning.

I believe that of all of the creatures on earth, none have bonded with man more than the dog.  I just LOVE these videos of dog's getting all excited when their people come home, and this is one of the best.

Here's a video of a soldier coming home and seeing his dog for the first time in eight months. Let's just say the dog is very happy to see his owner. By the way, this isn't the first time the dog has reacted like this in a video posted on YouTube...

I have seen some of the photos of the dog laying at the casket of his fallen owner, a Navy Seal.
