A tragedy involving a Texas teenage girl could have been avoided if she had been wearing her safety belt.

This Thanksgiving, Hope Law Enforcement is teaming up with law enforcement agencies across the country on a high-visibility Click It or Ticket mobilization to make sure all Thanksgiving travelers are wearing their seat belts.

The Nash, Texas Police Department received a $3,000 check from the Texas Department of Transportation for participation in the Memorial Day Click It or Ticket Campaign.

The Memorial Day holiday weekend begins the busy summertime season. Please be careful in whatever you do as we enter this time of year. One thing to do is buckle your seat belts.
