‘South Park’ Renewed Through 2013

Even though I lost intrest back in 2006, there are still some hard core Southpark fans that will be Breaking out the Cheesy Poofs when they find out — Comedy Central has confirmed ‘South Park’ will return on October 5th. It’ll air seven episodes to finish out its 15th season and continue through at least 2013. The show’s creators, Trey Parker and Matt Stone, have had huge success on Broadway recently with their Tony Award-winning musical, ‘Book of Mormon,’ leading some to believe they were close to pulling the plug on the popular television series. ‘South Park,’ which began in 1997, is cable’s longest-running animated series.
