Registration has begun for Summer I and II sessions as well as the fall 2019 semester at Southern Arkansas University.

For prospective students interested in taking summer classes or starting in the fall, begin by applying for admission to SAU at www.SAUmag.edu/apply or to find out more about SAU, schedule a tour, or ask questions at www.SAUmag.edu/admissions.

According to a press release, appointments for current freshmen (fewer than 30 hours), pre-nursing, non-degree seeking, and undecided students are available at the Advising Center through May 3. The Center is located in Overstreet 238, and may be reached at 870-235-5175, or via email, sw-advising@saumag.edu.

Graduate students may register through May 29 for Summer I, July 3 for Summer II, and August 28 for the fall semester. Current graduate students can self-register via MySAU portal. Please contact your assigned advisor for any advising questions. New graduate students may apply for admission through April 1 for Summer I, May 1 for Summer II, and August 1 for the fall semester. A late fee will be applied after the application deadline dates. Sophomores, juniors and seniors may make an appointment and register with their faculty advisors. Students with 90 or more hours can schedule appointments early until March 27, and scheduling opens to all sophomore students and above March 28-April 12, 2019.

Professional advisors are also available in the colleges for appointments for undergraduates with 30+ hours.

The professional advisors in each college work in collaboration with faculty advisors to provide quality academic advising to students in their college. Appointments are available through May 3, 2019 .
