Sarah Huckabee Sanders Announces Candidacy For Gov of Arkansas

It's official! Sarah Huckabee Sanders has announced her candidacy for the Governor of Arkansas in 2022. It was rumored that she would run for the office when she left as the White House Press Secretary under President Trump and the President gave his support.

She held her own with the reporters who were constantly rude and tough on Sarah and the Trump administration.

Two others have already announced their candidacy for the Republican nomination, Lt. Gov. Tim Griffin and Attorney General Leslie Rutledge.

Of course, we have a special connection to Sarah as she grew up in Texarkana and is the daughter of former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee.

If Sanders is elected, she would be the first female governor of Arkansas. Our current Gov. Asa Hutchinson is term-limited and cannot seek re-election to the office.
