Queen Reveal ‘Greatest Video Hits’ Box Set Due in August
This summer Queen will re-package their two greatest video hits releases into one box set. The two-disc package called ‘Greatest Video Hits’ will be available on Aug. 28, featuring 33 promo videos from the ’70s and ’80s, as well as new commentary from Brian May and Roger Taylor.
The band’s website announced the news on Thursday, adding that the vids have gone through restoration and received DTS Surround Sound mixing. Disc one includes the band’s ’70s hits like ‘Bohemian Rhapsody,’ ‘Killer Queen’ and ‘Crazy Little Thing Called Love.’
Disc two will include works from the band’s 1982 album ‘Hot Space’ through the 1989 project ‘The Miracle.’ Look for songs like ‘I Want It All,’ ‘Under Pressure’ and ‘Radio Ga Ga’ on that disc. All 33 videos were previously released in individual 2002 packages. The Second Disc notes that the new two-disc set will not include the bonus discs and material available on those earlier releases.
