Over the weekend there was big news in the animal world, but since it was Labor Day weekend I think a lot of us missed it. The giant panda is no longer on the endangered species list.

The World Wildlife Fund made the announcement Sunday and this is actually really big news because taking an animal off the list rarely happens. Usually, the way an animal comes off the list is when the species dies out. Luckily, that didn't happened. Instead the population grew 17 percent in the past 10 years.

I saw this video today and it reminded me of the news that I missed over the weekend and I figured that if I missed it then you probably did too. Talk about a precious video of a momma panda and her baby. The cub is a little wobbly on its feet and look at that fuzzy bottom? He finally makes his way to his mom.  So many "aww" moments in this video. Then, watch as the mom brings him back to their bed area. Just precious.
