This seems to occur every year for a limited time. What is happening in this photo? Take your best guess in today's edition of Patterson's Pixels!

If you guessed that someone was working out or lifting weights, you are correct! Each year, about a third of New Year's resolutions are to get in shape, according to Dulce Zamora on WebMD. Zamora also reported that about 15 percent of those people also intend to start an exercise regimen.

Sadly, according to Statistic Brain, only eight percent of those who plan to get in shape actually will achieve their resolution. But how does that break down by age? A reported 39 percent of folks in their 20s successfully reach their goal, but only 14 percent of individuals over 50 really trim down as they had planned.

So how are you doing on your New Year resolutions? Are you sticking to them? Here's some inspiration from blogger Brian Ganey that will likely inspire you. He's struggled with his weight his entire life, and now he's doing something dramatic to change it. Enjoy!
