Ozzy Osbourne Wanted to Join Slipknot, Says Corey Taylor

Ozzy Osbourne once said he wanted to join Slipknot, singer Corey Taylor claims. Taylor was at the recent premiere of the documentary ‘God Bless Ozzy Osbourne,” and on the red carpet he recalled Ozzy approaching him backstage at Ozzfest some years ago. “Ozzy came out and I was just like, ‘Oh my God,’” Taylor recalled. “And he goes, ‘Slipknot, I wanna be No. 10′” – a reference to the fact that the members of Slipknot call themselves numbers instead of names. Taylor’s reaction to Ozzy’s announcement? “I went, ‘Anytime you want!’” ‘God Bless Ozzy Osbourne’ was produced by Ozzy’s son Jack and will be released on D-V-D November 15th.
