Overnight Fire at Ceder Ridge Apartments in Texarkana Causes Damage

An overnight fire heavily damaged a handful of apartment units at the Ceder Ridge Apartments on Summerhill Road in Texarkana, Texas.The Texas-side fire department got the call around 3 a.m. and had to evacuate the complex while rescuing residents from the complex. The fire was brought under control and no serious injuries were reported.

Several units received heavy damage and families were displaced. The cause of the blaze is unknown at this time and is under investigation.
