Once Again The Best State to Do Business Is… Texas! That’s 17 Years-in-a-Row
Texas has once again, for the seventeenth year in a row, been chosen as the best State to do business in according to rankings by Chief Executive Magazine. The annual survey of CEO subscribers ranks all fifty states according to business, climate, workforce, and quality of life.
Texas has come out on top of this survey since the magazine began the rankings seventeen years ago.
Texas Governor Greg Abbott released a statement about this honor on Wednesday:
“Texas continues to dominate as the Best State for Business because of the unmatched competitive advantages we offer: no corporate or personal income taxes, a predictable regulatory climate, and a young, growing, and skilled workforce,” said Governor Greg Abbott. “As we continue to unleash the full economic might of the Lone Star State, I look forward to welcoming even more innovative, job-creating businesses to Texas. When businesses succeed in Texas, Texans succeed.”
If you have ever wondered why so many businesses are closing up shop and moving to the Great State of Texas, wonder no more. weather, resources, space, no State income tax, a great workforce, transportation hubs, central United States location and many more reasons, it just makes sense.
On a side note: All we ask when you come to our great state, don't screw it up like the state you're leaving. After you've been here a while we'll even let you call yourself a Texan.
Cross our hearts.
