The movie is ready and we are patiently waiting for the new poster and trailer for the updated remake of the feature film "The Town that Dreaded Sundown" and the excitement is building with this new song for the movie soundtrack... check it out!

The modern day remake of the Charles B. Pierce cult classic has been completed and is close to a release date. We reached out to get an official confirmation that this song was going to be on the soundtrack, but haven't heard back from Joe, the contact I worked with for audio on the movie. I spoke to my friend and "Phantom Killer" buff Jimmy Roberts and he wasn't sure either, but joked it should be Texarkana's new theme song. Which I thought was funny, but I hope not, the beginning of the song seriously creeps me out.

However, we are pretty sure from this video that it is going to be a part of the movie, but you decide. The track is titled "The Town that Dreaded Sundown" and, appropriately enough for a modern horror movie, it is performed by a band called "The Bloody Hammers"... and it sounds pretty dark. Many wonder if the ominous tone of the song is a hint to the over all feeling of the new modern version horror story. This is the "lyric video" from Napalm Records of "The Town That Dreaded Sundown" from the band  The Bloody Hammers...
