Looking for something fun to do this weekend? The 42nd Annual Pioneer Days in downtown New Boston continues today through tomorrow night (August 17 and 18).

The fun starts tonight at 6 p.m. with carnival rides, arts and crafts, concessions and more at the festival grounds. Rodeo action is tonight and tomorrow night starting at 7:30 p.m. at the arena on FM 992 N.

Tonight it’s the street dance from 8:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. with live music by Greg Gardner and the VOODOO Cowboys.

Tomorrow (August 18) will start with the New Boston Volunteer Fire Department’s Pancake Breakfast from 6 a.m. to 8 a.m. at Fire Station 1.

At 10 a.m.  it’s the Cowboy Boots and Country Roots parade downtown.

More rides, live music and arts and crafts will take place through out the day tomorrow. Tomorrow night it’s Janie Fricke in concert starting a 8 p.m. followed by a Street Dance at 10 p.m. with Tommy Alverson.
