In one of the most explosive tours of the summer, Motley Crue are teaming with Kiss for what the bands are referring to as ‘The Tour.’

Motley Crue held up their half of the deal Friday night (July 20) in Bristow, Va. as they let loose with their typical raucous performance with a little bit of stage theatrics for good measure.

Much like Kiss, who headlined the evening, the band strayed from their new material, only serving up the recent single from the music they’ve been working on. The track made its live debut at the Jiffy Lube Live venue and fit right in with the rest of the band’s performance.

However, it didn’t hurt that the new track was packaged between the longtime fan favorite ‘Don’t Go Away Mad (Just Go Away)’ and the always highly anticipated Tommy Lee drum solo soundtracked by ‘Love Rollercoaster.’

Other highlights from the evening included the late-in-their-career show opener ‘Saints of Los Angeles,’ the always welcome ‘Home Sweet Home,’ and pulse-pounding set closers ‘Girls Girls Girls’ and ‘Kickstart My Heart.’
