Teen Forced to Sign ‘Mom Contract’ to Get iPhone
The day a teen gets his or her own iPhone is usually one of the happiest of their youth. They're finally seen as responsible, semi-independent individuals. However, this 13-year-old, whose mother decided to attach her own 18-point agreement of rules and guidelines in exchange for the phone, might have reason to look for happier days.
Set with restrictions such as "Never Ignore a Phone Call If the Screen Reads Mom or Dad," "No Porn" and "Hand The Phone In to One of Your Parents Promptly At 7:30PM," it's an unfortunate but inevitable fact that this kid's contact list will remain empty for years to come.
Sorry, Greg -- better luck when you're 18.
Do you think this contract is a fair exchange for getting a sweet iPhone? Or should this mom lighten up?
