Sheriffs Deputies for Miller County help recover stolen service truck.   

Authorities say Sunday, May 13 at 6pm, Deputy B. Tatom of the Miller County Sheriff’s Office Uniform Patrol Division responded to a vehicle theft call near mile marker 12 on Interstate 30.  The reporting person stated that his 1998 service truck and equipment that he utilized to service tractors on his job sites had been stolen.  The truck and equipment were valued at $50,000.00. 

On Thursday, May 17, Investigator Sam McJunkins of the Miller County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division began coordinating with the Hempstead County Sheriff’s Office and the Hope, Arkansas Police Department regarding the stolen property.  

The intact vehicle was subsequently located and recovered in Hope.  Joseph Biddle, 28 of Miller County was identified as a suspect in the case.  The case remains under investigation and Felony Theft Charges against Biddle are pending.
