Main Street Texarkana Receives Grant From The State of Arkansas
Some good news for the Texarkana area. Last week Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson announced that the Arkansas Historic Preservation Program awarded $2,824,799 in grants for projects in 47 Arkansas counties. According to a press release, Miller County was on the list.
The grant money was awarded through the state's County Courthouse Restoration Grant, Historic Preservation Restoration Grant and Main Street Downtown Revitalization Grant programs.
Main Street Texarkana received a $15,000 Downtown Revitalization Grant.
Where would you like to see revitalization happen in Downtown Texarkana on the Arkansas side? Is there a certain building you would like to see take on a new life?
