Local Artists to Showcase Talent in TRAHC Gallery Hop

Texarkana has a vibrant art scene and the Texarkana Regional Arts & Humanities Council (TRAHC) Gallery Hop is a great way to see hometown talent. The event is Saturday, October 8, and runs from noon until 4PM at nine different locations all around our community.

The Texarkana College Art Department is one of the destinations showcasing TC student artwork. Their work features portable murals that will be used by the Domestic Violence Prevention Shelter. The  mural sizes vary from 1ft x 4ft to 4ft x 8ft. The subjects are cartoon characters, inspirational  messages, landscapes and whimsical scenes.

Everyone is invited to drop by and see the TC art students as they paint for this worthy cause at these locations.
