Joint Police Effort Ends in Suspect’s Arrest

The combined efforts of Police on both sides of state line has landed a burglary suspect behind bars.Texarkana, Texas Police were investigating a recent burglary which led them to Linden Street on the Arkansas Side of town. Shortly after noon yesterday the officers located the suspect who fled in a vehicle until he abandoned it in the 1800 block of Beech Street.

With the assistance of Texarkana, Arkansas Police,  they were able to locate and apprehend the suspect a short time later in the 1400 block of Beech Street. Authorities say 27 year old Eric Keith Watts-Rose faces multiple charges on both sides of the state line. Police are recovering what they believe is stolen property.
