Details on Ghislaine Maxwell's New Federal Prison in Texas
Ghislaine Maxwell is currently serving her sentence at FPC (Federal Prison Camp) Bryan. The all female minimum security prison was built in 1989. Inmates live in four-person dorms and there are 200 inmates in each dormitory. In 2017, Insider Monkey named the facility as one of the ten most easiest federal prisons to do time. Inmates report virtually no prison politics or outbreaks of violence.
Most Famous Current Inmate, Elizabeth Holmes
Ghislaine Maxwell will be the most famous inmate at the prison now, but before it was the former CEO of Theranos. Elizabeth Holmes was convicted of wire fraud and conspiracy to commit wire fraud for her company that claimed to have revolutionized blood testing by developing a device, nicknamed "Edison," that could perform a wide range of tests using only a few drops of blood from a finger prick. The case's evidence outlined Holmes's role in faked demonstrations, falsified validation reports, misleading claims about contracts, and overstated financials at Theranos. She is currently expected to remain in federal prison until 2032.
