
A Fort Worth Resident Just Hit a $2 Million Jackpot in the Texas Lottery
Someone in Fort Worth just scored $2 million from the Texas Lottery. I can’t imagine how euphoric it must feel to go from living paycheck-to-paycheck to being a multimillionaire in an instant (if they were, in fact, living paycheck-to-paycheck in the first place).
More Money, More Problems?
However, according to Notorious B.I.G., more money leads to more problems. Personally, I would take my chances and endure the added problems associated with being rich over being broke as a joke. I mean, my experience is that being broke is plenty problematic itself.

That’s why big money lottery winners almost always remain anonymous, just like the Fort Worth resident who won the $2 million Powerball prize in the April 6 drawing. According to a press release, the winner bought the lucky ticket at QuikTrip #1866, located at 3436 N. Tarrant Parkway, in Fort Worth.
The last couple of Powerball winners I covered won using the Quick Pick option. This time around, the winner chose the numbers themself. The winning ticket matched the five white ball numbers (7-24-37-42-57), but not the red Powerball number (5).
Quick Pick vs. Picking Your Own Numbers
I don’t play the lottery, but if I did, I would probably always go with the Quick Pick. With my luck, the day I didn’t buy a ticket and use the numbers I always use would be the day those numbers matched all the balls. Someone would have to talk me down from the ledge afterward.
