Score Big With Lucky 7s and a Popular Game Show with the Texas Lottery This Month

(Tyler, Texas) - I am not the biggest risk taker when it comes to my money. It has to stretch further than ever before in this weird, and unfair, economy we're in right now. Having said that, taking a small, and I do mean small, portion of that money to have some fun with is okay to do from time to time.

The Texas Lottery is one of those small splurges I will take. It may only be $20 but that's enough for me and my wife to have a few minutes of scratching fun. This month, there is a set of Lucky 7 tickets we may try along with a Price is Right™ branded ticket.

New Texas Lottery Scratch Tickets for October

On the Texas Lottery website, you'll find a page that lists all of the current games to play and the jackpots that are still available to win. A lot of people like having this webpage because it plays into their strategy of which games to play. It also tells how old the game is and when a game will be closing.

Yes, there are no guarantee that you'll win anything with these tickets. But hey, it's fun to drop $20 on some of these tickets just to see what happens. I may run to the gas station later today and grab a couple of $5 tickets just cause.

Be Responsible But Have Some Fun This Month

There is a whole set of new tickets themed around Lucky 7. The biggest ticket is $50 but has multiple $2.5 million jackpots available to win. There's a $20, $10 and $5 version, too. I will have to pick up a couple of Price is Right™ tickets when those release on October 5. I love the show and winning a $250,000 top prize would be really cool.
