UAHT Offering Free Paraprofessional Training Course for Future Educators

The University of Arkansas Hope-Texarkana Adult Education program is ready to help you take the next step toward a career in education. They are offering a free Paraprofessional Training Course.

The program is designed to prepare you for careers supporting students and teachers in local classrooms while providing valuable skills and real-world experience.

Hands-On Training for Future Educators at University of Arkansas Hope - Texarkana

According to a press release, participants will receive a combination of classroom instruction and practical learning opportunities through a hybrid course format. The program also includes job-shadowing experiences and the opportunity to earn Paraprofessional Certification, helping graduates become more competitive for positions in area schools.

New cohorts will begin every six weeks, allowing those interested multiple opportunities to enroll and begin training.

Classes Begin July 14 at UAHT

The first cohort will begin on Tuesday, July 14. Classes will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4 PM to 6 PM.

The free training program is open to residents of Lafayette, Hempstead, Nevada, and Miller counties in Arkansas who are interested in making a difference in the lives of students and pursuing a career in education.
