Texarkana Independent School District is rolling out the welcome mat for new families with its upcoming “Now Boarding” New Student Enrollment Fair.

The event is on Monday, March 16, from 4 PM to 6 PM at the Texas High School Multi-Purpose Facility. District leaders say the fair is designed especially for families of incoming Pre-K through 5th-grade students who are new to the area or who are exploring their school options.

A Warm Welcome for New Families to TISD

The event is a come-and-go style and will give families a chance to meet campus teams, learn about district programs, and get one-on-one help with enrollment for the 2026–2027 school year.

Dr. Doug Brubaker, Superintendent of Texarkana ISD said in a press release,

This event provides an opportunity to ask questions, meet the people who will work with your child every day, and get a sense of what makes the TISD experience so special.

Amanda Eisley, Director of Student Information Services, said the goal is to make enrollment simple and family-friendly. They will even walk you through the process and answer any questions.

What Families Can Expect at Now Boarding” New Student Enrollment Fair in Texarkana

Organizers promise a fun, family-centered atmosphere featuring with free food, bounce houses and games, club demonstrations, campus and department information booths, photo booth opportunities and TISD goody bags.

District representatives will also be available to answer questions about academic programs, campus models, and student opportunities across the district.
