It's time once again to go Bigfoot hunting in Texas, and the squatchy folks in my house,  along with the rest of the Bigfoot enthusiasts around Texas, Louisiana, and Arkansas, are looking forward to attending the 2026 Texas Bigfoot Conference in Jefferson, Texas, on Saturday, October 17.

Featured 2026 Speaker - Adam Davies

British explorer and cryptid researcher Adam Davies has spent decades conducting fieldwork in some of the world’s most remote and challenging locations, searching for evidence of animals yet to be recognized by science. His expeditions have taken him from the jungles of Congo and Sumatra to Mongolia, Nepal and beyond, where he has investigated creatures including the Orang-Pendek, Yeren and Seljord Serpent. A lifelong animal tracker and former British government courtroom advocate, Davies has appeared on programs including MonsterQuest, Finding Bigfoot, Expedition Unknown and Unexplained Files. He is also the author of several books on his expeditions, including Extreme Expeditions 3: Bigfoot Versus The Yeti, documenting his search for the Yeti in Nepal with television archiologist/explorer and host Josh Gates.

His work has preserved the history of The Legend of Boggy Creek, and he’s appeared on programs such as Expedition X and Finding Bigfoot. Lyle's latest book is Lake Worth Monster - The True Story of the Greer Island Goatman, available now. LyleBlackburn.com

Shelly Covington-Montana - Also a native Texan and Level II Certified Wildlife Tracker, Shelly Covington-Montana is dedicated to conservation and the pursuit of truth in wildlife research. Todd Neiss - Bigfoot witness-turned-researcher, Todd Neiss has been an active investigator for over 33 years. Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, Neiss was recently featured on the History Channel’s “The UnXplained” with William Shatner and now lives in the small town of Jasper, Arkansas, with his wife Angela.

The She-Squatchers - Jen & Jena are the She-Squatchers. Jen Kruse is an enrolled member of Minnesota’s Red Lake Band of Chippewa, internationally known healer, speaker, and founder of She-Squatchers, the first all-female Bigfoot research team. She and co-founder Jena Grover use intuition as a compass, tracking energy as much as footprints in their ongoing “all-female Bigfoot experiment.”

Richard Stewart Taylor - A registered mixed-blood tribal member of the Cherokee Nation, Richard is a retired investigator who says his first visual sighting occurred in North Texas about 20 years ago. Since that time, he has had multiple sightings of the Big Guys, with documentation by photos, videos, thermal night vision, and black-and-white IR video.
