Tunnel 2 Towers Steel Across America Texarkana Stop – Amazing
On the 25th anniversary year of 9/11, this steel beam from the Twin Towers in New York that fell on September 11, 2001, is a must-see.
Downtown Texarkana, On Wednesday, June 3
I sure hope you were able to make it downtown in front of the Federal Courthouse for the Tunnel 2 Towers Steel Across America stop here in Texarkana, Texas, and Arkansas, today. It was amazing, all the feels, the emotions, the flood of memories that came back to me today are frankly hard to put into words.

Great Turnout Downtown
The ceremony was very well done and respectful, as you can imagine. It was hosted by a retired New York City firefighter who is traveling with this tour, and he did a super job. It's not easy navigating the intricacies of the Twin Cities' multi-Mayors, Police, Fire, etc. The ceremony featured short speeches from both Texarkana Mayors Bruggeman and Brown, and the Fire Chiefs. Plus, the man responsible for that amazing truck hauling the Steel Beam around the country, Steve Ledwell, received a special plaque presentation from the T2T people.

Final Thoughts, Then Pics!
I know many in attendance weren't even alive when the attack happened 25 years ago, but for those of us who remember exactly where we were and what we were doing when the planes struck the towers, the Pentagon, and the field in Shanksville, PA, it was an amazing thing to see and touch. If you have the chance to witness it, you should. You can find the schedule, make donations, and more at T2T.org.
