Experienced Leader Ready to Serve TISD
Board President Amy Bowers said Penix has played an important role in the district's recent success and is well-equipped to lead during the transition.
Bowers said in a press release,
Texarkana ISD is building strong momentum, and our responsibility as a Board is to provide the leadership and stability needed for that momentum to continue. Mrs. Penix has helped lead many of the initiatives that are producing positive results for our students.
