This weekend is the 4th Annual Drive-Thru Live Nativity at First Assembly of God Church in Texarkana.

If you've never been to this you are in for a treat! It all takes place this weekend Friday, December 8 from 7PM to 9PM and Saturday, December 9 from 6PM to 9PM. This event is open and free to the public.

According to their Facebook page:

The journey will begin before you even enter the parking lot as you will be able to tune in to a Specialized Radio Broadcast. Upon entry into the grounds, you will be greeted with Hot Chocolate (candy canes for the little ones). You will see animals: Sheep, Cows, Mules, Goats, CAMELS & more. You will be required to take a census & pass your gold coin to the Roman Soldiers in order to gain entrance into the City of Bethlehem. When you drive through the Bethlehem Marketplace, you will feel as if you have stepped back into the pages of the Bible.

There is a large number of people that come to this event. With that in mind, they have implemented some ways they have reduced the traffic and make the wait time shorter. Including the Fast Pass Shuttle Service. You can catch the shuttle in the Kmart parking located at 4520 West 7th Street in Texarkana. You can find out more information on their Facebook events page.
