4th Annual Drive Thru Live Nativity Coming in December
Nativity scenes are such a beautiful sight to see. Get ready because it's almost time for the 4th Annual Drive Thru Live Nativity from the First Assembly of God Church in Texarkana.
With over 100 people in costume, this Nativity scene has quickly become a Christmas family tradition. It all takes place Friday, December 8 from 7PM to 9PM and Saturday, December 9 from 6PM to 9PM. This event is open and free to the public.
Plus enjoy hot chocolate and candy canes for the little ones. Children will love seeing the animals including sheep, cows, mules, goats, camels and more.
According to their Facebook page:
The journey will begin before you even enter the parking lot as you will be able to tune in to a Specialized Radio Broadcast. Upon entry into the grounds, you will be greeted with Hot Chocolate (candy canes for the little ones). You will see animals: Sheep, Cows, Mules, Goats, CAMELS & more. You will be required to take a census & pass your gold coin to the Roman Soldiers in order to gain entrance into the City of Bethlehem. When you drive through the Bethlehem Marketplace, you will feel as if you have stepped back into the pages of the Bible.
Because of the number of people that enjoy this event they implemented some ways to reduce the traffic so the wait time is shorter. Including the Fast Pass Shuttle Service. You can catch the shuttle in the Kmart parking located at 4520 West 7th Street in Texarkana. You can find out more information on their Facebook events page.
